Beginner Guitar Lesson OnLine | Learn the key signatures for sharps and flats
Refer to the handy chart above for each key, how many sharps or flats each has and what each sharp or flat is. When you go down the row of added sharp or flat, it means that this note is cumulative to those above.
In other words in the sharp column we start out with just an F# for the key of "G". Add a C# to the F# for the key of "D" add a D# to the F# and C# for key of "A" and so on.
